The Temporary Accommodation Service was activated on 9 September 2021 in response to damage caused by severe rainfall the week prior.
Our matching and placement coordinators are working with affected households to understand their housing needs, identify temporary accommodation options, and provide guidance on how to access support services such as insurance advice and financial assistance.

Alert Level 4 considerations
The Auckland Region is currently in Alert Level 4. We are working closely with partner agencies to make sure all temporary accommodation placements can be completed safely and in compliance with Alert Level 4 restrictions.
